Your day of exploration and relaxation gets an early start on the west shore of Kauai, where we launch from Port Allen and head out towards the Na Pali Coast. Enjoy the calm morning sailing conditions as you take in the views of Polihale, Niihau, and Kokee, and maybe even enjoy the company of the Hawaiian Spinner dolphins that traverse the coastline!
When the weather allows, you’ll get to see an incredible diversity of landscape as we take a special route near the shoreline before sailing downwind further offshore. Na Pali hosts countless waterfalls, lava tubes, and breathtaking ocean cliffs, a testament to the almost 8 million years of exposure to the natural elements on Kauai, the eldest of the 8 main Hawaiian islands. Your sailing crew can tell you more about the fascinating history and culture of the lush landscapes you’ll see, and the ancient people that once called them home.
Once you’ve soaked in the views of the coastline sail, you’ll get a chance to explore one of the best remote snorkeling spots on the island. After setting anchor, guests are free to snorkel or lounge in the sun. Your lunch is then prepared by our onboard crew in the craft’s well-appointed kitchen, served on deck with wine and beer (to enjoy post-snorkeling), before wrapping up and sailing home to Port Allen.
Restrictions: Please no children under the age of 3, or expectant mothers in their third trimesters. Guests should be in a physical condition that enables them to board and walk about the boat without assistance.
